Food A+. Best fried chicken I've had in a very long time. Bean soup home made style , really good. Delightful family run atmosphere. Excellent service. Ambiance - its a family restaurant, lots of regulars. Did I mention the fried chicken is really good? Great house made deserts. We'll be back when we pas through.
This was my favorite restaurant as a child and continues to be so today. They have the best fried chicken in town hands down and mix a damn good old fashioned cherry coke too!!! Thanks for being the best for my 58 years and into tomorrow as well!!!
Very nice small town diner. Servers were busy, but kind and attentive. We had the fried chicken, it was some of the best we have ever enjoyed. Moist and tender and came out nice and hot. Enjoyed seeing the locals all visit with each other you can tell this is a nice community, with good down to earth people. We will return when on this road again.
Geez neither us been here for LONG time. Maybe 50 or more years. Pecan pie coming first. Jumbo Shrimp basket with mashed potatoes and corn. Pie is ok. Nice salad and shrimp.
No wait, food was great! We will return the next time. I love the Chef Salad and the dressing.
